Frequently asked questions.

What is OpenStages?
OpenStages is a Bay Area community company that builds the rooms where AI, Tech, and SaaS companies meet the people who drive their growth. We design, curate, and run offline events — closed-door salons, GTM panels, founder dinners, demo nights, and multi-day summits — and we run them end to end rather than renting out a stage.
What does OpenStages do for companies?
OpenStages plans and hosts go-to-market events for companies that want pipeline, credibility, positioning, and talent from one room. That covers the event concept, the guest list and speaker curation, moderation and run-of-show on the night, and the recaps and content that keep working afterwards.
Who attends an OpenStages event?
OpenStages rooms are application-only and screened one guest at a time. Attendees are founders, frontier AI researchers, enterprise infrastructure leaders, GTM operators, and investors — curated against what the host company actually needs in the room rather than filled to a headcount.
Where does OpenStages run events?
OpenStages runs events across the San Francisco Bay Area — San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Redwood City, and the wider Peninsula. Past venues include KQED in San Francisco.
How is OpenStages different from a typical networking event?
OpenStages curates for fit instead of volume. Every person who signs up is checked against a list built from the host company's actual needs, the formats are closed-door so people can speak plainly, and the follow-up — recaps, speaker profiles, introductions — is treated as part of the product rather than an afterthought.
How can I speak at an OpenStages event?
OpenStages keeps a public roster of everyone who has taken the mic in our rooms, and an open call for speakers on new formats. Founders and operators can apply through the speaker call on the homepage, or browse open speaking opportunities on the OpenStages opportunities board.
